Watkins Park

We have been in the middle of a long HOT heat wave! This past Wed the humidity dropped and we got a beautiful day in the high 80's! It felt so great since it has been over 100 with heavy humidity! So we had to take advantage and go to the park! We met my friend Rachel and Mom and Gavin at Watkins Park. The kids LOVED the playground, the train, and the carousel ride!
Gavin was having fun, showing his fun very serious face!

Anticipating the start of the ride!

Pretty girl. When she saw the ride she screamed and ran up to it, so excited to get on!

On the train! We were on the black train, Gavin saw a red one parked and said, "Look, I want to ride the red train.

The conductor was pulling on the loud horn! Gavin covering his ears! He rode a 2nd time.

(Last month)

We went to Watkins Park to check out the "Choo Choo" Train! Madelyn loves trains and we were excited to go ride the train for the first time. There was also a carousel and putt putt. It was about to down pour so we had to fit everything in before we would get soaked!

This was her first ride of the season and she was a little nervous. Love that face! She had a great time and loves Carousel rides now! The train ride was good, right after Maddie's first hit on putt putt it started to pour and we ran to our car! We got pretty wet, and then went to Cetrones for pizza. It was a fun family day.

Katy Perry in Concert!

Anita and I took a much needed mommy night out! We splurged on front row Katy Perry tickets! It was a GREAT concert! Robyn opened for Katy at Merriweather. We had a lot of fun, our feet were crippled the next day from dancing in our platform shoes all night!
LOVE Katy Perry!

MD humid summer had arrived full force. It was fun the kids had their flags, and loved the marching band, dance teams, and "princess" in the parade! Mary Beth took this awesome photos, thanks MD!

Trip to OH, Shaun Graduates Case Western!

We are so proud of Shaun graduating from Case! It was very exciting, we were so glad we were able to make it! I wish the commencement was on Saturday so we could have stayed for the party but it worked out. Shaun also recieved an award (and cash) for most untraditional and distinguished student! Good luck on continuing your education.

Madelyn did really well in the car. Thanks to Disney movies! She is really into ALL movies, especially princess movies!

Easter Sunday

We had family pictures taken at Quiet Waters Park. I will post them after we hook up our scanner. This is a cute pic of Maddie! I love the sun behind her. It was really cold still! She wasn't very cooperative but we were able to get some good ones! It was pretty and sunny, we went out to brunch afterward at the Main Ingredient. It was really fun.

It was to make Maddie's Easter basket this year. Mostly it had little toys in it. Chicks, hopping bunnies, some jelly beans and a chocolate bunny. We went to church as a family. Maddie was up late the night before with her cousins so she was tired! In the afternoon we went to Mom's for the cousins Easter egg hunt. The kids had fun, their were a lot of eggs to find! It was really warm out and mom made a delicious dinner.
