Trick or Treating ....

Time for trick or teating! The rain let up just in time, but it was very humid! We went to our neighbors that we know to show them our little bumble bee.
Maddie clung to me at first, she was unsure of where she was going!
She warmed right up when she saw her doggie friend at this door! She wanted in to pet her!

She got to pick her own candy and didn't let it go! I had to pry it away when it was time for jammies!

Trunk or Treat here we come!

Our little bumble bee! It was very fun to get Maddie dressed up as a bee for the first time! She loved to look in the mirror at her antenna's and wings! I messed up and we got to the church 45 min early! So by the time the party got started Maddie was ready for bed!

Elioak's Farm Park / Pumpin Patch!

Building Blocks

Madelyn amazes me everyday! I was playing blocks with her the other day and she made a tower all by herself! I think her coordination is so good for her age! But that's just me, the cutest thing is that she is so proud of herself!

Puppy Love

I got this cuddly puppy costume for $4 last fall! It is really cute and soft! Maddie loves when daddy makes the puppy a puppet for play time! She just giggles and giggles. I know she doesn't need 2 costumes! But it was too hard to just pick one, so she will be a Bumble Bee too! Very excited for next week! We have a busy schedule! Trunk or Treat, Music Makers, and then Trick or Treating in our neighborhood!

Walk at the Park

Madelyn had a high fever that woke her out of sleep early Sunday morning. 102.8! Thank goodness for Tylenol it took it down to normal within 15 minutes. She had this fever for one day and then woke up the next morning with large lesions on a swollen lip! Poor baby, I did not go to work because I did not know what was going on! Mom thought they were fever blisters and the Dr. thought she bit her lip hard to cause trama lesions. She is fine, and what ever they were they are almost gone. We took her to the park to get some fresh air and collect leaves! She loves to pick up leaves and does not let them go out of her little tight fists!

Happy Feet!

Last Thursday Maddie spoke her first sentence!! Pete was getting ready to leave for work and Maddie said, "BYE BYE DADDY!" Clear as day, we were shocked! It was so adorable to hear her little baby voice say such a clear sentence!
After 5 days of rain the sun has finally come out! It's about time! Our plans for the pumpkin pack were cancelled yesterday but we still had the Purdum family over for dinner. Maddie was in a great mood and was so excited to see her Mi Ma and Pop Pop at her house. maddie playing, before family arrived

Maddie was watching her cousins run after each other and really wanted to join in the fun! She tried to run but it looks like a little jig! Like Happy Feet! It was so funny, she woke up in the morning dancing again! She couldn't quite get moving forward but she is a great dancer! Go Maddie!

I am very excited because I am going to have Melissa take our family photo for Christmas. We haven't had a nice family photo taken since last Christmas!
Madelyn is 11 month's old! We can not believe how fast she is growing! She is so much fun at this stage though! She has a very fun sense of humor and is as sweet as ever. She has been picking up a phone, remote, or any toy and puts it to her ear , and says, "HI Da!" It's so cute, she walks around talking to her daddy on the phone. She waves bye bye a lot, especially when she see's her neighborhood friends! I can't believe I am planning a 1st birthday party for my baby next month!

Aunt Leigh Ann put her new hat on Madelyn! She was being silly,
she liked the fuss I made over her!

Today Leigh Ann and Mason came over for the day. It was so fun to see them! Mason is adorable and such a good baby. Madelyn just loved him and her Aunt Leigh Ann! She worked really hard to try to say "Ba-By"! We hung out at home for the morning, had breakfast, and then went to Kohls. Maddie stayed in her stroller for a while and then I chased her around the store the rest of the time. She doesn't like to hold my hand! It's starting already..I'm in trouble...!

We were watching Yo Gabba Gabba and Maddie started to do her rythmic knee bends to the music. She does deep bends when she really gets into it. It's makes me laugh so hard! She added a new hip sway move the other day! It is cute.

Maddie is so in love with her Buddy! She plays with him all day and he is so good about it. It's so adorable how they like to be with each other! This day Buddy was napping and Maddie was was trying to wake him up but since he didn't want to play she just gave him love instead. Awww.

October 3 weekend, 2009

This weekend my mom and dad came to visit! It was great because we just visited OH last weekend so Maddie remembered her Nana Bell and Grandpa really well! She smiles at her Grandpa and gave her Nana LOTS of love and cuddles! Maddie loves her Nana's songs and fun games. Friday night Lynne and Tim came over for a delicious lasagna and key lime pie. Of course we laughed a lot, everyone is so funny. Especially my mom when she gets tired!
Saturday morning mom woke up early and was making quiche and baking sticky buns! Yum! She works too hard, but it was so good, thanks mom! We took breakfast over to Nana's and visited with Popie, Nina, Emily, Tony, Lisa, Jeremy, Leigh Ann and baby Mason! So great to see everybody. Emily was visiting from NYC and loved holding Mason.
Mom made more food, and then off to Aunt Mary Ellen's 50th Birthday Party! It was a very fun party. So glad my Dad and Mom could make it! And the Reeves. Yeah, I'm so glad they are on TEAM MD with me again!! Maddie was all over the place walking around and around! She loved the balloons and the doggies and her cousins. They showed a slide show that made everybody cry! It was so good. We will here Dad's message on the dvd that is being copied for everyone to have!
